Body Waxing and Facial Waxing including brow waxing is the most common form of hair removal other than laser today.
There are different types of waxing for removing unwanted hair - shaving, waxing, laser removal, sugaring, plucking, threading, electrolysis, and depilatory cream.
At our studio Gita is using a waxing treatment.
In this waxing treatment a warm or hard wax is applied to the hair then pulled off in strip sections.
It can be performed on the skin for both face and on any part of the body.
Hard Wax for hair removal is also known as stripless waxing.
For the face I definately prefer to use hard wax. It's created specifically for more sensitive areas, as hair comes out easier. This hard wax adheres to the hairs rather than to the skin, and thus offers a less painful experience.
Hard wax can also be used for body.
Soft wax for hair removal is also known as strip waxing. It requires a strip to remove hair from the body. For it to be effective, it requires a quarter inch of hair growth in order to successfully remove the hair from the skin.
Soft wax is best used for less sensitive areas.
Does waxing stop hair growth?
Hairs might stop showing that much in areas where it grows naturally finer.
However, people would need to go through years of wax sessions before the hair stops growing for good.
